How to swap to Monero using Cake Wallet

By the 0trace team · Jul 14, 2026 · 2 min read

Cake Wallet is a popular open-source wallet for Monero (and other coins) on iOS, Android and desktop. It's a clean way to hold real XMR in a wallet whose keys you control. Here's how to swap into it on 0trace — you use 0trace with Cake Wallet, there's nothing to connect or authorise.

Set up Cake Wallet

  • Install Cake Wallet from the official site or your app store and create a new Monero wallet.
  • Write down the seed phrase and store it offline. It's the only way to restore the wallet.
  • Open the wallet and tap Receive to see your Monero address.

Copy your Monero address

In Cake Wallet, the Receive screen shows your primary XMR address (a long string starting with 4…). Copy it. You can generate a fresh subaddress per payment if you like — any of them will receive your swap.

Swap into it on 0trace

  • On 0trace, set the top field to what you're sending (BTC, USDT, ETH…) and the bottom to Monero.
  • Paste your Cake Wallet XMR address as the payout destination.
  • Enter an amount, create the order, and send the exact deposit shown within the order window.
  • Once your deposit confirms, real on-chain Monero lands in Cake Wallet — usually within minutes.

Why it's real XMR

0trace runs its own Monero node and pays out on-chain, so what arrives in Cake Wallet is genuine Monero you fully control — not an IOU. No account or email is involved at any step.

The service fee is 0.1%-0.5%; the network fee is charged separately. The minimum accepted amount is 10 USD.

How long does it take?

Processing normally takes 2 to 30 minutes. A manual delay of a few hours can be added for extra privacy.

Is it anonymous and are logs kept?

No registration is required and KYC is only requested above the provider limit. No logs are kept once the coins are dispatched. The service is reachable over HTTPS.

Which assets are supported?

Supported assets: BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, BNB, SOL, XMR.

How do I stay safe?

Open the site from a bookmark or the official link, never from an advertisement. Check every receiving address character by character, keep the order ID, and split large amounts into several orders.
